Commercial Trucking Permits/Survey/Escrow
Payment Information
Please adhere to the following guidelines when mailing a payment (unless other instructions are on the form/application being submitted):
- All payments must be for the correct amount.
- Payment must be made in U.S. Funds only.
- Submit a check or money order (do not send cash) payable to: Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Payment by “bad check” will result in additional fee assessment of $20.00.

Commercial Trucking Fees

72 hour trip permits (IRP/IFTA) are $15.00 each
Enhanced access fee is $5.00 for each online permit
Single trip permits are $35.00 each; single trip over-length permits are $20.00 each.
Special Excess Weight permits range from $10.00 to $350.00.
Blanket permits are $100.00. Each additional blanket permit issued in the same year to the same registrant can be purchased for $5.00.

$300.00 Survey fee for Pre-fabricated Homes less than 150,000 pounds
$800.00 Survey fee for loads less than 150,000 pounds
$2,000.00 Survey fee for loads 150,001 pounds up to (and including) 200,000 pounds
$5,000.00 Survey fee for loads 200,001 pounds up to (and including) 250,000 pounds
$10,000.00 Survey fee for loads 250,001 pounds and over
A $20.00 permit fee is also required for each permit submitted with the survey. Surveys requiring over 8 hours to process will be charged $60.00 for each additional hour.
