SUMMARY: On 11/29/2022 at approximately 1:56 pm Vermont DMV Inspectors responded to a report of a log truck which had crashed on VT Rt 103 near Village St, in East Wallingford. It was reported that the truck had rolled over, lost its load of logs, and that rescue and fire services were en route. The 2022 Western Star log truck was operated by Anthony Kurjiaka, 54, of Londonderry, VT. Kurjiaka is the owner of the carrier, TK Trucking Inc. No injuries were reported.

A post-crash inspection was conducted by DMV Inspectors, and it was found that a mechanical failure of the suspension occurred on the log trailer, which in turn caused the driver to lose control. VT Rt 103 was reopened to all traffic at approximately 5:04pm. No tickets were issued.
