
SUBJECT: Motor vehicle crash

SUMMARY: On 09/1/23, VT Motor Vehicle Police were dispatched to the area of 1648 South Barton Rd in Barton VT, for a crash involving a passenger vehicle occupied by 5 persons and a tri-axle dump truck. The occupants of the passenger vehicle were transported to St Johnsbury hospital for precautionary reasons. The operator of the dump truck was uninjured. A level 1 inspection was conducted on the dump truck at the scene, which did not reveal any pre-existing violations. Barton Fire responded to the scene along with the Orleans Ambulance service. Wright's towing removed the vehicles from the scene at the request of the Operators. This crash remains under investigation at this time.
