Overview

The Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking a team player to join the Driver Improvement (DI) and Ignition Interlock (RDL) Units. As the Direct Client Service Specialist, I will work with customers and members of the public regarding suspensions and reinstatements. Due to the nature of the position, difficulty, unique, and sensitive issues may be addressed. Duties may include processing reinstatements and various reports such as driving records, accident reports, voluntary surrender of a license, suspensions, compliances, and reinstatements through the Ignition Interlock program. The Specialist will collect and process fees for the above transactions, so experience with point-of-sale systems is preferred. These are unique positions in which you will interact with Vermonters daily, and the ability to provide excellent customer service is required.

This is not a remote position; work occurs within the Montpelier DMV.

The incumbent will work from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
