The Department of Motor Vehicles is seeking a highly-organized professional with excellent attention to detail to join our team as a Purchasing Inventory & Facilities Specialist. This position will act as the lead worker in the Stockroom and Mail Center Operations. Daily duties involve procurement of office and computer supplies, furnishings and ergonomic equipment, special order purchases and distribution, inventory management, disposal of surplus property, various work orders and general facility maintenance, distribution of mail including hazardous materials, and managing the Department's vehicle pool. The incumbent may participate in and support the management and execution of emergency preparedness plans and the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) for the Department. Work is performed under the direction of the Facilities & Logistics Manager in the Division of Finance & Logistics. Performs other related duties as required.
