Renew Vehicle Registration

Renew your vehicle's registration securely online in 5 minutes or less using DMV Express, Vermont DMV's online service portal!

Cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and most types of vehicles can be renewed via this service. Upon completion, you will receive a temporary registration valid for 10 days that you can print immediately and place in your vehicle. Your permanent registration and sticker will arrive by mail within 4-6 business days.

  • A copy of the Death Certificate identifying the surviving spouse.
