Overview

The Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Motor Vehicle Call Center Agents!

Duties include:

  • Provide exceptional service through constant public phone, written, and electronic customer contact.
  • Handle and complete a wide variety of applications with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure accountability for all fees and audits and maintain detailed records through daily reports and weekly statistics.
  • Mentor and train new agency employees, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.
  • Process salvage vehicle documentation and correct batch errors to maintain smooth operations.
  • Act as a supervisor in their absence, covering office and unit phones and fielding emails.
  • Manage supply orders and maintain inventory.
  • Utilize driver improvement knowledge and provide accurate information to exam office customers, including written road and Commercial Driver Permit exams.

Call Center Agent III

This role will offer opportunities to mentor and train team members while playing a key role in ensuring the DMV runs smoothly and efficiently. We offer a supportive environment with room for professional growth and development. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Vermont DMV, a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A commitment to providing exceptional service and accurate information to the public is vital.

Call Center Agent I

This position will help you develop your skills in customer service, administration, and data management while working under the guidance of a dedicated Unit Supervisor who supports your growth. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing top-notch service to our community.
