SUMMARY:  On the date and time above, VT DMV commercial motor vehicle Inspector Jacobs and Inspector Lindor responded to a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 91 in the Town of Barton. Vehicle #1 is a 2019 Ford F150 that was towing a utility enclosed box trailer that was transporting a dog sled team consisting of 11 dogs. The operator of the vehicle was subsequently identified as Jaye Foucher, 57, of Wentworth, NH. Vehicle #2 is a 2017 Freightliner truck tractor that was towing a 53-foot enclosed box trailer transporting U.S. mail. The operator of the commercial motor vehicle was identified as Daniel Aremburg, 57, of Royalton, VT. The commercial motor vehicle was owned by Action Moving & Storage of Colchester, VT. There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash. The commercial motor vehicle combination and the dog sled team trailer were required to be towed from the scene due to disabling damages. Wright’s Towing of Barton removed both vehicles. The cause of the crash was found to be that Foucher was driving too fast for the existing road conditions, which resulted in her losing control of her vehicle and crashing into the commercial motor vehicle, which then left the roadway and crashed into several trees.
