Vermont titles vehicles (including Motorboats, ATVs, and snowmobiles) that are 15 years old or newer based on the calendar year. For example: from January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022, Vermont will title vehicles with the model year 2008 or newer.

Boating Safety Education
The Marine Division of the Vermont State Police is responsible for recreational boating safety on all Vermont’s waterways. This task is accomplished by providing boating safety education, patrolling of Vermont’s waterways and enforcement of Vermont’s boating laws.
