Per Act 119 of the 2018 Vermont Legislative Session, a veteran or an active duty service member who has been designated by the U.S. Armed Forces as a 91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent, and who has one of more of the following certifications, shall be exempt from passing an examination to become a Certified Inspection Mechanic as required by 23 V.S.A. § 1227.
