IID Manufacturers

All holders of a Vermont Ignition Interlock Restricted License (RDL) or Ignition Interlock Certificate (IIC) must have a camera-equipped ignition interlock device installed in the vehicle. When contacting an installer (or the manufacturer), you must inform them that Vermont requires a camera-equipped device. If you do not have a camera-equipped device, you will not be allowed to drive the vehicle until a camera-equipped device is installed.

Some manufacturers may refer you to an installer located outside of Vermont. If you wish to obtain their ignition interlock device, it is acceptable for you to use an out-of-state installer.

Holders of an RDL are responsible for all costs associated with an ignition interlock device. These costs may include: installation, purchasing or leasing, removal, calibrating, data retrieval, servicing, and any other fees charged by the installer/manufacturer. Costs are determined by each installer or manufacturer.  

Recipients of 3SquaresVT, LIHEAP, Reach Up or like benefits from another state are eligible for a 50% reduction in the cost of installation, maintenance, and removal of ignition interlock devices. Contact the manufacturer for more information. 

Following is a list of Ignition Interlock Device Installers. You are responsible for contacting an installer and arranging to install a device in the vehicle you will be operating. Each company below offers devices: Camera-Equipped, GPS Capable, and Real-time Reporting unless otherwise indicated.​
